This is Father’s Day special episode and the story is All for a Paisa (paisa is the smallest unit of Indian currency). It comes from northern India, from the book Folktales of Kashmir. It is folklore riddle story, which talks about different parenting styles between mothers and fathers and expectations parents have from their children.

We also discuss mothers and fathers having defined roles with stereotypical mom/dad duties, if societal gender norms can inhibit fathers from having an emotional bond with kids, and if biology and genetics plays a role in the way humans father versus the way they mother.
